TIN ALLEY MONSTER TOUR 2010

'MONSTER' release date 16th August 2010
Expect Sirens – Expect Groove – Expect The Unexpected - With 2010 already proving to be massive for Tin Alley the guys have set a whole new bar of quality music standard with a new fresh off the brewing room ‘POP’ music jive – To kick start the Monster EP release Tin Alley have announced plans to tour nationally at Australia’s largest night clubs for special limited showcases to promote their latest release.
This release reinforces Tin Alley’s recent success with their single ‘OUT OF CONTROL’ having charted over 5 weeks in the ARIA charts top 100 to making over a solid month at #1 on AIR Charts and #1 spots on AMO (Australian Music Office Charts) also receiving 4th most added track to national radio. Tin Alley will be featuring a special showcase nationwide at some of Australia’s largest and illustrious nightclubs on various selected nights. 2010 is already proving to be massive for Tin Alley with ‘Monster’ being added to an international ad by fashion company Billabong and having teamed up with Luke Chable for the dance track ‘Out Of Control’ the great news just doesn’t stop.

Rocketing from Melbourne’s inner suburbs is Australia’s newly found Tin Alley and at the core of the band are Paul Siourthas (bass), Jim Siourthas (Vocals ,Guitar) and Peter Hofbauer (Drums). Three things jump out when you hear Tin Alley, Passion, energy and great songs that get you hooked.
The last couple of years saw the band achieve some major milestones that started off by securing Australia wide distribution through MGM.
Their first release through MGM, titled "In your hands", made the AIR charts on 2 separate occasions (16 first time on 20/8/2007 and 13 second time on 3/9/2007). JJJ and community radio stations including Syn FM, PBS and RRR also featured the song.
The first of Tin Alley’s national tours to support “In your hands” was cut short before it began in late 2007 when drummer, Peter Hofbauer, had a serious motorbike accident and at the age of 27 almost became a member of the “27 Club” himself - which is the theme of the band’s current single "Out of Control".
The 80km/h collision with a kangaroo left Peter in intensive care for three weeks and many months doing rehab. It was truly a gallant effort for him to resume drumming duties, with a smashed clavicle and a strapped up arm only months after the accident.
Since the accident, Tin Alley have played two Australian tours to support their single releases, from Hobart to Brisbane, Adelaide to Byron and many places in between.

In 2008 good fortune found the band when producer Stuart Stuart (Veronicas, Small Mercies) contacted the band via this website and suggested that they record with him in Brisbane. The band duly attended at Stuart’s studios and recorded what would be their most successful track to date “Out Of Control".
With its roaring opening and lyrics that explore the excesses of youth, rock stardom and fame (particularly the infamous 27 Club so named after musicians who died at that age such as Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain), “Out Of Control” has had an immediate impact on listeners around the country.
In October 2009 Tin Alley's release Out Of Control reached number 1 on the AMO Charts (Australian Music Office) and was also at number 1 on the AIR Charts(Australian Independent Record Labels Association) for five weeks.
In November 2009 Out Of Control reached no.7 on the ARIA Australian singles charts and was in the ARIA Australian Singles Charts top 20 for six consecutive weeks.
In 2010 Tin Alley are hoping that they will go on to "bigger and better things" says Jim and have already got a follow up scorcher entitled "Crossing Paths" inspired by and dedicated to Pete's brave efforts in dealing with and eventually overcoming the physical and mental injuries associated with his accident.
