Out on the streets of our city, we showed our support and love for a truly great live music community. |

The Carnival of Suburbia is a celebration of suburban culture, creativity and passion!
The Carnival of Suburbia is building on the phenomenal success of the Caravan Music Club which is now regarded by music pundits to be the hottest gig south of the Yarra. Three or four years ago many in Melbourne's music community thought it vaguely quaint that there was a venue way out in Oakleigh setting its sights on becoming a top-class music club. Surely such places could only exist in inner suburbs or within the CBD.
But Peter Foley had a dream and he persisted. His insight and years of hard work have removed all doubt about the viability of a top-class music club in the Oakleigh region. Now punters from all over town universally love going to the Caravan Club and musicians love playing there. They say so from the stage! |
